Honda confirmed plans to produce the Base Station modular camper prototype unveiled in January. The company positions it as a lightweight trailer that can be towed by most vehicles, including the CR-V. A production version is expected to be revealed later this year.

Japanese company VANTECH has unveiled the compact motorhome Lunetta, based on the Suzuki Every Wagon minivan. The model features bunk beds, a TV, a sink, and a folding table, while maintaining the ability to carry four passengers for daily use. The motorhome's price starts from 3,702,000 yen.

The car dealership "Motor Shop Kamishima" will hold the "Hokkaido Camping Car Festival 2026: Encore Fair in Obihiro" on April 11 and 12 at its exhibition space in Obihiro. The event is presented as an additional fair following the main festival.
