Parking Lot in Příluky Changes Rules. Caravans and Trailers No Longer Allowed to Park

A Zlín-based startup introduced the Caravanbox Coyot GT, a removable living superstructure for a trailer. The 270 kg construction is positioned as transported cargo, avoiding registration as a residential trailer. The complete set with a trailer and mattress is estimated at around 165,000 CZK.

Boho Camper Vans has introduced the Buttercup motorhome built on a Ram ProMaster chassis. Key features include a red cedar interior, a 500-watt solar panel, a Starlink system, a battery bank, a 3000-watt inverter, and a 125-liter water tank. The project highlights a growing trend of using self-sufficient vehicles as an alternative to conventional housing.

An entrepreneur from the Czech Republic has become the official representative of the Polish company Camper4Mountain, which specializes in converting vans into campervans. The conversion includes installing a pop-up roof and basic amenities, a process that takes about a week. The base vehicles are most often Volkswagen Transporter T5/T6 vans with up to 120,000 kilometers on the odometer.

The Sazka Klub loyalty program is running an exclusive raffle for a PLA Happy 440 motorhome worth 1.2 million CZK throughout April. Registered club members who meet one of the conditions, such as topping up a SAZKAmobil phone number, by April 28th are automatically entered. The motorhome accommodates six people and features an engine commonly used in the Citroën Jumper and Fiat Ducato.

The city of Zlín will ban the parking of motorhomes and caravans at the P+R park-and-ride lot in Příluky from May 4th. The ban is due to these vehicles occupying spaces intended for commuters and hospital patients for weeks or months. Municipal police will increase enforcement of the new regulation.
