In Montrose, Colorado, an RV owner mistakenly connected a chemical toilet hose to an underground diesel tank at a gas station. The station had designated waste disposal tanks for RVs, located away from fuel pumps. The entire diesel supply, filled the previous day after cleaning, must be discarded and the tank cleaned again.
Since January 2025, a new law in Greece restricts parking of motorhomes and caravans in public spaces. Violations can result in fines up to 300 euros and up to three months imprisonment. Parking in residential areas is limited to 24 hours for vehicles longer than 7.5 meters.

A camper van with a Banksy graffiti titled 'Silent Majority', painted at the 1998 Glastonbury Festival, was sold at Digard auction house in Paris for €620,000. The owner, Nathan Welland, who lived in the van, used the proceeds to buy a house. Banksy will receive the statutory 1% of the sale price.
