Die steigende Zahl von Wohnmobilen an der türkischen Ägäisküste belastet die Infrastruktur und führt zu Konflikten um die Nutzung öffentlicher Räume. In Izmir hat der städtische Wohnmobil- und Bootspark İnciraltı Çakalburnu 191 Stellplätze erreicht; bis 2026 sind neue Standorte in Sasali, Pinarbasi und Karsiyaka geplant.
