How to plan a route with fuel cost calculation

1. Open the map. Go to /maps — the map opens at your current location or a default region.
2. Set route points. Click on the map to add a start point, waypoints and a destination. Points can be dragged to adjust.
3. Enter your consumption. Provide your vehicle's fuel consumption (L/100 km or MPG) and fuel type — petrol, diesel or LPG. Settings persist in your browser.
4. Get country-by-country cost. The route is split by country and the current fuel price is applied to each segment. We show the total cost and where to fill up cheaper before the border.

Frequently asked questions

How is fuel cost calculated for the route?

The route is split by country, and the current per-litre price (petrol, diesel or LPG) is applied to each segment. You enter your vehicle's consumption — we multiply litres by the local price and sum across all countries on the route.

Are different fuel prices in different countries taken into account?

Yes — that's the main feature. Prices are taken per country along the route. If fuel is cheaper in one of the countries, we show how many litres to fill up there and how much you save by crossing the border with a full tank.

Is the route planner with fuel cost calculator free?

Yes, fully free: route building, country-by-country fuel cost, campsites, water and shower points, news and events — no registration or subscription required.

Which vehicles are supported?

Any vehicle with fuel consumption: car, camper, campervan, caravan, motorcycle, truck. Just enter your consumption (L/100 km or MPG) and fuel type — petrol, diesel or LPG.
