Swedish caravan registrations fell 62% in February
According to HRF industry statistics, 24 new caravans were registered in Sweden in February 2026, a 62% decrease from the same month last year. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations rose 118% to 312 units. Part of the increase is attributed to pre-registration of vehicles due to the introduction of Euro 6 standards.
Affinity motorhome brand fully integrated into Kabe

According to the Swedish Caravan and Motorhome Industry Association (HRF), only 9 new caravans were registered in January, a 68% decrease year-on-year. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations doubled to 122 units. The overall caravan market declined by 15.5% in 2025.
Swedish motorhome for winter use launched at 176,000 euros
Swedish manufacturer Kabe AB has unveiled the Novum Traq 750 LGB motorhome based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The model is adapted for cold climates, features an Alde Compact 3030 heating system, and can accommodate up to four people. The price starts at 176,000 euros.

Kabe unveils Abisko Van camper van for year-round travel
The Swedish company Kabe has renamed its camper van to Abisko Van, marketing it for 365-day-a-year use. The 6.97-meter-long model, based on a Mercedes Sprinter, features an Alde heating system and AirVent ventilation. Standard configuration includes rear-wheel drive and a 170 hp engine, with all-wheel drive and dual rear wheels available as options.

Swedish manufacturer unveils Nature Pod mobile home for 14,000 euros
Swedish company Vagabond Haven has introduced the Nature Pod mobile home built on a trailer base. The basic model without furniture costs 14,000 euros, is 4.9 meters long, and features a 45mm thick ThermoWood construction that eliminates a wooden frame to reduce weight and cost.
