The city council of Ponta Grossa (Paraná state) is analyzing a bill to regulate caravanning with motorhomes. The proposal includes creating a free, exclusive support point with 10 spaces for RVs at Monteiro Lobato Park, with a maximum stay of 5 days but a ban on tent camping. The bill aims to promote tourism and has been forwarded to the legislation committee for review.
Law regulates circulation and parking of motorhomes in Ubatuba
The municipality of Ubatuba has enacted a law regulating the circulation, parking, and overnight stays of motorhomes, trailers, and similar recreational vehicles. The law, effective since September 23, prohibits overnight parking in public spaces like beaches and squares, restricts parking to licensed campgrounds or private lots, and sets fines for violations including improper waste disposal.
