The city council of Blumenau in Santa Catarina is evaluating the implementation of motorhome support points. The proposal is inspired by the successful model in Castro, Paraná, where the 'Lacustre' Park offers ten spots with electricity, potable water, and a common area. Tourists can register via a QR code available at the parking site to use the facilities.
Nine parks in Paraná to get motorhome facilities
Nine conservation parks in Brazil's Paraná state will be equipped with dedicated areas for motorhomes. The infrastructure, featuring individual electrical and water hookups, is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026. Currently, only three state parks offer overnight facilities for such vehicles.
9th Expo Motorhome attracts visitors and tourists from all over Brazil to Paraná
The 9th Expo Motorhome, described as Latin America's largest camping, caravanning, and wheeled tourism fair, began on Wednesday (12) at the Expotrade Convention Center in Pinhais, Paraná. The event, running until Sunday (16), expects around 30,000 visitors, a 20% increase from the previous edition. The state's Institute of Water and Land (IAT) announced plans to expand dedicated motorhome areas in nine Conservation Units by the first half of 2026.
