A designated campervan parking site in County Tipperary, Ireland, is boosting local business income. The Suir Island Aire facility in Clonmel, opened in recent years, accommodates 18 campervans and provides fresh water and waste disposal. A county-wide feasibility study is underway to expand such facilities, as visitors are reportedly spending significant amounts in the town.

A planning application has been submitted for a new 10-pitch campervan park on the outskirts of Naran, County Donegal. The proposed facility would include parking bays, a service building with showers and toilets, and landscaped areas. The aim is to accommodate an estimated 35 visitors at capacity and reduce campervan congestion along the Naran beachfront. A decision on the application is expected in February 2026.
