Residents Appeal RV Park Approval Near St. Anthony Dunes

The European Commission has clarified that EU member states can exempt privately used motorhomes and motorhome-trailer combinations over 7.5 tonnes from mandatory tachograph rules. This follows a proposal that would have affected vehicles towing a trailer or with a special loading device, impacting approximately 4,700 vehicles in Germany. The decision aims to reduce costs and legal uncertainty for private users, with industry associations calling for swift national implementation.

The municipality of Arezzo has established a dedicated parking area for motorhomes during the Christmas events. From November 15, 2025, to January 6, 2026, parking on Via Tarlati will be prohibited for all vehicles except motorhomes on Thursdays, weekends, and holidays. Parking for motorhomes will be charged at a rate of €1 per hour or €10 for 24 hours, payable via parking meter or dedicated apps.

Qatar's Ministry of Interior has announced specific time windows for towing caravans and trailers ahead of the 2025-2026 winter camping season. Towing is permitted from Sunday to Wednesday between 8am and 5pm, and from Thursday to Saturday between 8am and 12noon. The season runs from October 15, 2025, to April 15, 2026, with regulations requiring drivers to keep to the right lane, avoid overtaking, and refrain from towing during low visibility or fog.
